2025年USNCO美国化学竞赛地方选拔赛详细介绍！

美国化学奥林匹克竞赛（USNCO）是一个面向中学生的多层级选拔活动，旨在挑选出4名优秀学生代表美国参加国际化学奥林匹克竞赛（IChO）。在这个过程中，地方赛是初级选拔阶段的一部分。美国化学会上海分会负责举办USNCO在中国的地方赛。2025年，地方赛和国家赛都将以线下考试的形式进行，考点设在上海。这为在中国的中学生提供了一个展示化学才能的机会，并有可能进入美国国家队，最终代表美国参加国际化学奥赛。

Local Chemistry Olympiad Competitions（地方赛）是美国化学奥赛的初级选拔赛。美国化学会上海分会负责承办USNCO 中国地方赛。2025年地方赛和国家赛均将采取线下考试的形式，考点设在上海。

重要提醒：计划在中国境内参加考试的考生，请务必选择Step 1中的China ,如下图所示

2025年比赛日程
  • 中国地方赛报名截止：2025年1月17日
  • 中国地方赛 ：2025年3月22日，星期六（拟定日期）
  • 国家赛提名：2025年4月5日前
  • 国家赛 : 2025年4月5日-13日
  • 训练营：2025年6月1-14日
  • 国际化学奥赛：2025年7月5日-14日
报名须知

从2022年起，美国奥赛海外地方赛的参赛学生必须持美国护照或绿卡，非美国国籍学生，请勿报名。地方赛不再设立奖项，仅通知分数，并选拔优秀学生进入下一轮比赛。

2025 U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) is coming!
The U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad is a multi-tiered chemistry competition. The top four students of the national competition represent the United States in the annual International Chemistry Olympiad.TheLocal Chemistry Olympiad Competitions is the first step in the U.S. NationalChemistry Olympiad. ACS ShanghaiChapter coordinators oversee the administration of ACS LocalExam in China. Both the Local Competitions and the National Exam will be heldin person, in Shanghai in 2025.2025 U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad Schedule (Subject to Change)

  • Jan 17, 2025: Registration close
  • March 22, 2025: Local Exam in Shanghai
  • All National Exam Nominees must be submitted by USNCO Coordinator by April 5，2025
  • April 5-13: National Exam
  • June 1-14: Study Camp
  • July 5-14: International Chemistry Olympiad

How to register

  • Eligible students must be U.S. Citizens with US passports or green cards.
  •  Go to ACS National as below for registration.
